CELTIC THUNDER, SLUMBER PARTIES, AND KEURINGS
Here we are in the hottest part of the year at Cornerstone Training. We have some friends that do some traveling and they send e-mails and updates and tease us with the weather. While we are roasting in above 100 degree weather they are up north enjoying cooler temps. We are surviving and although we always look foward to cooler days we are blessed and thankfulto be doing what we are for a living.
With all that said we have again decided to LOWER OUR TRAINING FEES due to the hard economic times. I sometimes wonder how many times a day that gets said. I know everyone that I talk to is struggling and it doesn't seen to matter what you do for a living, but we still work at providing for our family. For those who may be considering training for their horse, give us a call and we can discuss our fees. We know that it is hot and you may not be thinking about riding right now, but in less than two months we will start getting cooler weather and why not have your horse ready to ride by sending them off for some good solid foundation training, some trail training, obstacle course training or performance training. We pretty much do it all.
Although it is something that we don’t advertise much we also fit and train Friesian horses for the Keurings. It is something we enjoy and have had a lot of success at with several of our mares making Star. We have also opened up our facilities to horse boarding. There are 60 acres of wooded trails to ride on along with a pond and a pretty nice obstacle course over several acres. We charge a small fee to those who want to haul in and ride on our property and go through the obstacle course, it is challenging and fun.
Steve will be competing in the Supreme Extreme Mustang Makeover in Ft. Worth next month. His mustang Celtic Thunder is coming along nicely. If he makes it to the finals he already has a free style planned and one thing I can say about my husband is he is very creative, so it should be quite a show. Dan Talbot of the Lone Star Horse Report came out last week and interviewed us for an upcoming article that should be coming out in September with some pictures of Celtic Thunder and Steve. For Father’s Day I also put together a quick video of Steve and Celtic Thunder and posted it on you tube. Please go to you tube and take a look He was still in his first month of working Celtic Thunder, but I was able to get some good footage. Please if you get a chance shoot us an e-mail and tell us how you are doing.
